Job summary

White House Black Market in Columbus, OH is seeking a Sales Lead to supervise the store team, lead by example, and support leadership responsibilities. You will uphold brand standards and foster a culture of hospitality, delivering memorable, personalized experiences for customers.

In this role you will oversee opening/closing tasks, coach associates, manage scheduling, and ensure merchandise is presented to reflect our brand. The position requires flexible hours and a customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• Flexible availability — including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist the store leadership team with general store operations, including opening and closing responsibilities.
• Actively share brand priorities, initiatives, and messages with store teams.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, sharing product knowledge and utilizing an omni-channel approach.
• Provide coaching and encouragement to keep the team on track with performance goals.
• Execute operations activities, including cash handling, scheduling, inventory management, and merchandise replenishment.
• Be knowledgeable about current sales, promotions, and store policies.
• Support associate development, provide coaching feedback, and assist with scheduling, when needed.
• Share ideas and insights with the store leadership team.
• Contribute to a positive work environment by embracing teamwork with peers and leaders.
