Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Sales Floor Department Supervisor to lead a team and deliver exceptional customer service in-store. You will coach associates, manage tasks, and ensure a clean, safe, and well-stocked sales floor while supporting merchandising decisions.

The role emphasizes guiding customer-facing activities, staff development, and collaboration across departments, with occasional MOD duties and limited travel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 3 years retail experience or 5 years retail experience.
• 1 year customer service experience.
• 1 year supporting Pro customers (Pro Department Supervisor).
• Experience directing or supervising teams (with or without reports).
• Experience training, mentoring and developing associates.
• Experience cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and enable a team of associates to deliver the best customer experience.
• Coach and train associates; delegate tasks and monitor daily performance.
• Oversee in-store tasks such as down stocking, merchandising and area recovery, and ensure store safety.
• Interact with customers, identify solutions, and close sales while maintaining store standards.
• May open/close the store or serve as manager-on-duty (MOD) as needed.
• Occasional travel to meetings or to support neighboring stores.
