Job summary

The Michaels Companies, Inc. is seeking a store team member in Temple, TX to provide friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and ensure fast, accurate checkout. You will help with stocking, merchandising, and omni-channel tasks while maintaining store standards.

Ideal candidates have retail or customer service experience, can handle cash transactions, and promote our Rewards program and card offerings. This role requires standing for long periods and working nights/weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to assist customers and locate products.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout and accurate cash handling.
• Promote and enroll customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card.
• Educate customers on VOC survey and participate in feedback programs.
• Assist with Omni channel processes: BOPIS and Ship From Store.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planograms (POGs).
• Maintain in-stock store with merchandise recovery and general recovery.
• Support shrink and safety programs and follow SOPs.
