Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a Store Associate to support customers, keep the store well-stocked, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience in a PA location.

Responsibilities include helping customers find products, enrolling them in rewards programs, and assisting with omnichannel processes such as Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store. The role requires standing and lifting, and is available to team members 16 years or older.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and perform physical duties.
• Must be at least 16 years old.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards program enrollment.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
• Maintain store appearance through merchandise recovery and in-stock conditions.
• Support Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; be a positive role model.
