Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a team member for TEMPLE, TX. You will deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers, and ensure a fast checkout experience while supporting truck unloading, stocking, and planogram duties to keep the store well-merchandised.

You will engage customers in rewards programs, assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store, and follow SOPs and company policies. The role emphasizes safety and helping customers find solutions.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication and problem solving to assist customers.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards; enroll customers.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS and SFS).
• Participate in unloading trucks, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Ensure merchandise recovery and store recovery to keep products in stock and well-presented.
• Support shrink and safety programs compliant with SOPs and company policies.
