Job summary

Michaels in the United States is seeking a Sales Manager for the Store - DC-FALLS CHURCH, VA. You will lead front-end and service operations, coach the team on selling behaviors, and drive strong sales results while delivering an engaging customer experience.

You will oversee SOP adherence, POS and Self-Checkout, BOPIS, Same Day Delivery, and in-store programs, while promoting Loyalty Rewards and protection plans.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead adherence to SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance.
• Coach team on customer experience and selling behaviors to drive conversion.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and floor leadership, ensuring service standards.
• Oversee POS and Self-Checkout operations for smooth transactions.
• Oversee in-store programs (Balloons, parties, loyalty) and events.
• Promote Loyalty Rewards Program and protection plans to drive retention.
