Job summary

Kirkland's, Inc. is seeking a Sales Leader dedicated to delivering an exceptional in-store and online shopping experience. You will role-model customer service, guide the team, and ensure adherence to store business plans while collaborating with the Store Manager.

You will drive selling behaviors, educate customers on loyalty programs and promotions, and lead by example in executing MOD duties, merchandising, and inventory accuracy to boost store profitability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; college preferred.
• Minimum 1 year management experience in retail or service industry.
• Strong communications skills and customer selling experience.
• Energetic, people and results oriented with drive to succeed.
• Valid Driver license.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays and evenings.
• Ability to read and interpret directives, handbook and manuals.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Leads, supports and values customer selling in both in-store and online shopping.
• Leads a customer-obsessed culture prioritizing selling behaviors: Greeting, Re-engaging, Educating, Adding on, Thanking.
• Understands role in sales growth and store profitability.
• Reads cues and responds to customers to create an exceptional in-store experience.
• Educates customers on loyalty programs, promotions and merchandise.
• Brand ambassador, respectful and professional with coworkers.
• Leads by example and enforces company policies and procedures.
• Executes Manager on Duty (MOD) responsibilities such as opening/closing procedures.
• Assists in freight processing, stockroom organization, merchandising directives, pricing and inventory accuracy.
