Job summary

Michaels in WOR-BERLIN, MA is seeking a friendly Store Team Member to assist customers, locate products, and ensure quick, courteous checkouts. You will help unload trucks, stock merchandise, and maintain in‑stock, well‑merchandised aisles. This role supports rewards enrollments and omni-channel processes like BOPIS/SFS.

Applicants should be at least sixteen years old, with retail or customer service experience preferred. Benefits and a range of team member perks are available.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Responsible to complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including the merchandise return / go back process and general store recovery
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements
• Interact respectfully with colleagues; promote the organization’s vision and values
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
