Job summary

Redi Cannabis in the Greater Boston area is seeking a Budtender to interact with customers, provide knowledge about cannabis products, and offer resources on variety, usage, and benefits. Nights and weekends are required.

You will report to RSA Leads and Dispensary Manager, ensuring regulatory compliance, precise POS entries, and a clean, well-stocked store. The role emphasizes excellent customer service and teamwork across shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer service preferred.
• Able to operate POS software and handle cash.
• Must complete RSA role training including dispensing test.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers, provide product knowledge on marijuana varieties and methods of use.
• Address and resolve customer questions professionally; provide resources to aid product use.
• Enter information into the POS system accurately and maintain privacy of customers.
• Work with the RSA team to ensure smooth opening/closing procedures and store cleanliness.
• Escalate issues to management to sustain long-term customer relationships.

Position: The Budtender is responsible for interacting with customers in our dispensary locations, providing knowledge, information and resources on a regular basis. Addresses and resolves customer questions in a professional manner. Provides superior customer service at all times.. Nights and Weekends required.

Authority and Supervision:

• Report directly to the RSA Leads, Dispensary Manager and Assistant Manager

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Follow Redi Policies and Procedures for daily operations and fully comply with the state marijuana regulations
• Model best-in-class service that consistently exceeds our customers’ expectations and builds a long-term rapport
• Provide product expertise and knowledge to customers and explain the potential benefits of each variety and strain of marijuana, as well as methods of use.
• Identify unique needs of each individual customer by demonstrating compassion, empathy and sensitivity.
• Answer questions and provide resources to assist in customers use of products
• Maintain privacy and confidentiality with your customers
• Accurately enter all information into the POS system to ensure customer receives the correct product and inventory remains accurate
• Help to ensure the store is stocked, clean and in proper operational order
• Work in close coordination with a team of other RSA’s
• Supports the team work effort in both opening and closing procedures
• Projects a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community
• Act as a liaison between customers and Redi management to continually improve the customer experience
• Appropriately escape customer issues, conflicts or complaints, inspiring long-term customer relationships and loyalty to our brand
• Performs other duties and tasks as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
• Knowledge of basic computer skills, point of sale software and cash management is a plus
• Must successfully complete Redi’s RSA role specific training program. This includes passing the dispensing test at the conclusion of the training program and independently performing all functions of the role.
• Ability to deal with problems and resolve in a professional manner
• Must be available to work weekends and applicable holidays
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Demonstrates high emotional intelligence
• Ability to effectively multi-task
• Must be highly organized and have extreme attention to detail
• 21 years of age or older
• Passionate about the importance of marijuana

Physical Capability:

• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time (4 hours or more), and perform weighing, counting, calculating and computer processing operations. Ability to lift 30lbs unassisted.
