Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years of bookkeeping experience in retail/restaurant environments.
• Accounting education background or related coursework; associate degree or higher in accounting is required.
• Toast POS experience preferred.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Ability to reconcile complex transaction data from multiple systems and sources.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily sales reconciliation and ensure accuracy of POS data.
• Review, process, and reconcile high-volume daily sales transactions from multiple sources.
• Reconcile merchant processing statements to daily sales transactions and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage accounts payable functions, including invoice review and payment support.
• Maintain AR records for credit/debit cards and ensure timely bank deposits by third party merchant processing company.
• Perform bank reconciliations and system reconciliations.
• Assist with payroll processing using Paylocity.
• Prepare daily sales reports and assist with weekly/monthly statements.
• Maintain organized records and documentation for accounting and operations.
• Assist inventory counts and reconciliation of inventory data.
• Maintain and update products, pricing in the POS system.
• Provide operational support to management and team members.
