Job summary

Café Hospitality is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage the general ledger, perform reconciliations, and support month‑end close for multiple restaurant locations. You will work closely with operations and HR/payroll to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.

Responsibilities include posting journal entries, reconciling bank accounts and third‑party platforms, and importing Toast POS data into QuickBooks Online while resolving discrepancies across systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in hospitality or multi‑unit operations.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Toast POS.
• Strong Excel skills and high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries with proper supporting documentation.
• Perform reconciliations for bank accounts, cash, and third‑party platforms.
• Manage and maintain the general ledger across multiple locations.
• Assist with month‑end close including accruals and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Review accounts payable with proper coding and approvals.
• Reconcile daily sales in Toast POS and cash deposits.
• Import Toast POS sales data into QuickBooks Online and resolve discrepancies.
• Support multi‑unit reporting and ad‑hoc financial analyses for management.
• Assist with audits and compliance requests.
• Collaborate with operations, HR/payroll, and management for accuracy.
