Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company in Tyler, Texas seeks a Senior Real Estate professional to drive growth through land purchases, acquisitions, leases and negotiations. You will work with senior management, coordinate with Lease Administration, and lead negotiations with landlords and brokers.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with seven+ years’ related experience, strong financial acumen, advanced negotiation and contract drafting skills, and willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with seven+ years of related experience.
• Advanced lease and commercial real estate contract negotiating and drafting skills.
• Strong financial and business acumen.
• Ability to travel extensively within the region and operate in field and office settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiations for purchase or leasing of stores, properties, and FF&E.
• Negotiate disposition of closed stores and other company properties.
• Draft and revise legal documents related to real estate transactions with corporate legal staff.
• Coordinate with Lease Administration on leases, renewals, and related documents.
• Develop real estate presentations and obtain corporate approval for purchases, sales, leases.
