Job summary

MERS/Missouri Goodwill Industries is seeking a Retail Processor for the Bonner Springs store (129th). This on-site role handles donations, sorts goods, prices items, and maintains store cleanliness and customer service. High school diploma preferred; strong communication and math skills required.

Earn $15.50/hour, with a monthly bonus up to $250, and full-time benefits after meeting hours. Join a mission-driven team focused on serving the community.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Effective communication with coworkers, customers, and management.
• Organized and able to interact with a diverse work population.
• Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

• Handles all donations with care and respect.
• Sort donated and purchased goods into categories: sales floor, seasonal, online sales, outlet, and trash, according to guidelines.
• Inspect donated and purchased goods to distinguish quality and identify items for sales floor, recycling, and online sales.
• Identify and price items using AMI pricing software.
• Maintain high quality and quantity standards while working quickly and steadily.
• Stocks, straighten, rotate, and maintain the cleanliness of the store area.
• Provide positive customer service interactions in person, with donors, and over the phone.
• Develop positive relationships with team members and leadership; work cross-functionally to improve communication.
• Follow safe work practices and keep aisles clear of obstructions.
• All other duties as assigned.
• Monthly Bonus up to $250.00
