Job summary

MERS/Missouri Goodwill Industries is seeking an energetic Retail Processor to join our Glen Carbon store team. The role supports our mission, Changing Lives Through the Power of Work, with a focus on donations handling, category sorting, pricing, and customer service.

The position is hourly full-time with a target monthly bonus up to $250 and comprehensive benefits. Prioritizes safety, teamwork, and respectful interactions with customers and donors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, customers, and management.
• Must be organized and capable of interacting with a diverse work population.
• Mathematical skills include addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

Responsibilities

• Handles all donations with care and respect.
• Sorts donated and purchased goods into categories (sales floor, seasonal, online, outlet, trash).
• Inspects items to distinguish quality for sales floor, recycling, or online sales.
• Identify and price items using AMI pricing software.
• Maintain high quality and quantity standards while working quickly.
• Stock, straighten, rotate, and maintain cleanliness of store area.
