Job summary

MERS Missouri Goodwill is seeking an energetic Retail Processor for the Blue Springs store in Missouri. This full-time position offers a starting hourly rate of $15.50 and eligibility for a monthly bonus up to $250, along with comprehensive benefits for qualifying staff.

The ideal candidate will handle donations, price items, stock shelves, and provide excellent customer service. No degree is required, though a HS Diploma/GED is preferred.

Qualifications

• No degree required; High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Must communicate effectively with co-workers, customers, and management.
• Must be organized and capable of interacting with a diverse work population.
• Necessary math skills include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

• Handle all donations with care and respect.
• Sort donated/purchased goods into categories (sales floor, seasonal, online, outlet, trash).
• Inspect goods to distinguish quality and determine placement (sales floor, recycling, online).
• Identify and price items using AMI pricing software.
• Maintain high quality and quantity standards while working quickly and steadily.
• Stock, straighten, rotate, and keep the store area clean.
• Provide positive customer service interactions in person and over the phone.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with team members and leadership.
• Follow safe work practices and keep aisles clear.
• Maintain professional appearance per dress code.
• Safeguard assets and report theft or incidents.
• Adhere to policies and safety regulations.
• All other duties as assigned.
• Monthly Bonus up to $250.00
