Job summary

MERS/Missouri Goodwill Industries is seeking a Retail Processor at our Waldo Store - Waldo team in Kansas City. The role supports donations processing, merchandising, and customer service with a focus on efficiency and respect for merchandise.

No degree is required; HS Diploma/GED is preferred. You will sort and price items, stock the floor, assist donors and customers, and maintain a clean, organized store.

Qualifications

• No degree required. High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, customers, and management.
• Must be organized and capable of interacting with a diverse work population.
• Mathematical skills include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

• Handles all donations with care and respect.
• Sorts donated and purchased goods into categories (sales floor, seasonal, online sales, outlet, trash).
• Inspects goods to distinguish quality and determine placement (sales floor, recycling, online).
• Identify and price items using the AMI pricing software.
• Maintain high quality and quantity standards while working quickly and steadily.
• Stock, straighten, rotate, and maintain cleanliness of the store area.
