This role emphasizes consultative sales, cross-selling, and customer service within a risk-aware culture. Travel for training is required, and a S.A.F.E. Act registered candidate is expected.

Qualifications

• College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills.
• Experience in the financial industry preferred.
• Ability to develop comfort level with sales activities designed to acquire new consumer household and small business customers and/or cross-sell to established customers.
• Must demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions for analysis of credit and financial information.
• Ability to professionally represent Fifth Third Bank in terms of appearance and communication.
• Understanding Retail policies and procedures to make sound judgments.
• S.A.F.E. Act registration at time of employment via NMLS required.

Responsibilities

• Use consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify needs.
• Maintain deep knowledge of Retail products/services and recommend solutions.
• Reach out to customers and set appointments for periodic financial reviews.
• Cross-sell to existing customers and participate in outside sales activities as directed.
• Refer customers to partners (Mortgage, Small Business, etc.) for holistic solutions.
• Meet/exceed customer experience and production goals and contribute to revenue growth.
