Job summary

Fifth Third Bank is seeking candidates for a Retail Personal Banker I program. Selected individuals will rotate through operations and Sales & Service during a 4-8 week onboarding, culminating in a certification to perform as Retail Personal Banker I within Financial Centers or Bank Marts.

The role focuses on consultative sales to identify and meet customer financial needs, cross-selling, and building relationships with customers and partners while processing teller transactions as a member of

Qualifications

• College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
• Experience in the financial industry preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to develop comfort level with sales activities to acquire new customers and cross-sell to existing customers.
• Must understand advanced math to analyze credit and financial information.
• Ability to represent Fifth Third Bank professionally in appearance and communication.

Responsibilities

• Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build a customer profile and identify financial needs.
• Maintain knowledge of Retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend solutions using the value proposition.
• Utilize CAMP and other approved Marketing tools to reach out to customers and set appointments for financial reviews.
• Primarily focused on cross-selling to existing customer base and engaging in outside sales activities.
• Establish close working relationships with assigned Business Partners (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial and Investment).
• Consistently meet/exceed customer experience and production goals and contribute to revenue growth.
