Job summary

Belk in Modesto, CA is seeking a Support Flex Associate to drive sales by delivering a positive customer experience and preparing new merchandise for the floor. You will unload deliveries, process tags, support facilities, and assist with merchandising and fulfillment tasks on an hourly basis.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated dedication to customer service and store objectives.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with customers and teammates.
• Comfortable using smartphones, tablets and Windows-based systems.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently unload cartons from truck deliveries and prepare products for the sales floor.
• Process sensor tags, transfer merchandise, handle damage and RFID tasks.
• Support facilities, store maintenance, lighting and housekeeping duties.
• Assist with floor sets, price changes, product presentation and order picking/packing.
• Replenish supplies, aid store recovery, and keep tools and stock organized.
• Stay informed about products, promotions and store events to improve execution.
• Greet customers, assist during peak times and contribute to a positive store culture.
• Follow safety procedures and asset protection guidelines to minimize risk.
