Job summary

PetSmart’s Process Lead (Retail Operations Lead) role focuses on driving operational excellence in our stores, overseeing merchandising, inventory, pet care, and opening/closing procedures.

In this position you will lead and coach associates, manage daily tasks, and ensure a safe, clean, and engaging shopping experience for pet parents. Full-time hours with benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail supervisory experience in a customer-focused environment.
• Full-time availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to react under pressure and maintain composure.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide sales associates, train on product knowledge and presentation.
• Oversee store opening/closing and cash handling.
• Manage inventory, conduct audits, and supervise stock replenishment.
• Maintain store standards and reinforce policies and ethics.
• Ensure pet care, safety and customer experience across the store.
• Act as Leader on Duty when required and mentor associates.
