Job summary

PetSmart’s Process Lead (Retail Operations Lead) has shared responsibility to drive operational excellence in our stores while upholding the company’s vision, mission, values, and strategy. This role covers merchandising, inventory management, pet care operations, and overseeing associates to maintain a safe and organized environment.

You will work with a team, lead while on duty, train associates, and ensure a positive experience for pet parents.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail supervisory experience in a customer-focused environment.
• Full-time availability; flexibility for evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide sales associates in merchandise handling and product knowledge.
• Delegate daily tasks and supervise the leader on duty.
• Oversee store operations including inventory management and POS accuracy.
• Ensure store standards and compliance with Policies, Procedures, and Code of Ethics.
• Assist in opening/closing procedures and monthly cycle counts.
• Maintain pet care standards and a positive experience for pet parents.
