Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an Operations Supervisor to support the CVS Store Management team in planning and driving store execution and customer service, with a focus on maintaining a welcoming, efficient environment in Birmingham, Alabama.

This full‑time role requires strong leadership, deductive reasoning, analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with staff and customers while managing opening/closing procedures and maintaining store standards.

Qualifications

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills and computer skills.
• Advanced communication skills, supervision, and influencing skills
• Ability to work a full‑time flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight and weekend shifts, to work overtime as needed, and to respond to urgent issues at the store when they arise
• Experience as a retail supervisor (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Work effectively with store management and store crews.
• Supervise the store’s crew through assigning, directing and following up of all activities.
• Effectively communicate information both to and from store management and crews.
• Assist customers with questions, problems and complaints.
• Promote CVS customer service culture and greet, offer help, and thank customers.
• Handle customer relations issues per company policy and ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Provide coaching and feedback to colleagues on customer service.
• Maintain customer/patient confidentiality.
• Price merchandise, stock shelves and support weekly promotional displays.
