Stop & Shop in Fairfield, CT is seeking a highly motivated Non-Perishable Manager to oversee Grocery, General Merchandise, Health & Beauty Care, Frozen, and Dairy. This leadership role drives daily operations, training, and performance while upholding safety and sanitation standards in a fast-paced retail setting.

You will guide teams to meet sales targets, foster diversity, manage labor relations, and ensure exceptional customer service across multiple departments.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in retail grocery.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field (preferred) or equivalent years of work experience.
• Highly motivated, results-oriented, with a proven track record of success.
• Strong ability to influence and communicate effectively across different functions.
• Excellent multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of Grocery, General Merchandise, Health & Beauty Care, Frozen, and Dairy departments.
• Ensure departments meet or exceed sales and profit targets.
• Maintain high sanitation and safety standards in compliance with regulations.
• Direct, oversee, and evaluate training of all non-perishable department team members.
• Monitor and evaluate associate performance, implementing action plans for growth.
• Foster a culture of diversity and inclusion within the team.
• Manage labor relations to ensure policy and labor law compliance.
• Address and resolve employee issues and grievances in a timely manner.
• Cultivate a culture of customer service excellence and train teammates accordingly.
• Coach and provide feedback for efficient operations; monitor inventory and stock accuracy.
