Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Retail Operations Manager at Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven, CT. You will lead five retail locations, five managers, and 100 union employees, driving operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and team development.

Reporting to senior leadership, you will manage people, set direction, and deploy resources, shaping team performance and customer experience while upholding all safety standards in a fast-paced healthcare retail environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High school/GED or Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree.
• Management Experience: 0-3 years.
• Related Experience: 0-3 years.

Responsibilities

• Lead five retail locations, five managers, and 100 union employees while driving operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and team development.
• Oversee daily operations, manage priorities, and ensure smooth POS/cash handling processes.
• Partner with vendors to maintain product flow and compliance; drive merchandising and marketing initiatives.
• Uphold sanitation and safety standards and coach teams to high performance.
