Job summary

Talbots in Eugene, OR is seeking an experienced retail leader to drive store operations and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will coach a team, manage visual merchandising, and execute floor sets while maintaining brand standards and a customer-first approach.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of specialty retail experience with emphasis on store operations and/or visual merchandising.
• Professionalism with strong work ethic, integrity, and respect for others.
• Customer-centric, understanding how exceptional service drives sales.
• Educator, coach and mentor to inspire team members.
• Organized and strategic with ability to make independent decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear communicator of business information and brand initiatives.
• Ambitious, enthusiastic and adaptable in a diverse work environment.
• Technological aptitude to navigate POS/iPad/handheld systems.
• Comfortable with physical tasks and standing for extended periods.
• Open to a flexible schedule including opening/closing shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Available for 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Create and foster a culture of hospitality through exceptional customer experiences and build relationships.
• Provide meaningful customer service that promotes the product and brand relationships.
• Achieve sales and service metrics including clientelling and outreach.
• Partner with the Manager to lead the team across store operations.
• Plan and lead floor sets, displays and in-store marketing efforts.
• Educate and reinforce brand standards and policies.
• Balance operational and selling energy with planning and prioritization.
• Stay aware of fashion trends and business drivers to maximize sales.
