Job summary

The Talbots Louisville store is seeking an experienced leader to drive store operations and visual merchandising while delivering a high level of customer service. You will coach and mentor a team to meet sales goals in a fast-paced retail environment.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in specialty retail, strong communication skills, and expertise with POS/iPad handheld systems. A flexible schedule including weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of specialty retail experience with emphasis on store operations and/or visual merchandising.
• Customer-centric mindset focused on delivering exceptional service.
• Educator, coach and mentor who inspires team members.

Responsibilities

• Create and foster a culture of hospitality through exceptional customer experiences and build enduring relationships.
• Provide an exceptional and meaningful customer service experience that promotes the product and builds brand relationships.
• Achieve sales and service metrics in key areas such as Clientelling/Outreach and appointments.
• Lead the team with ownership of operations in partnership with the Manager.
• Plan and execute floor sets, displays, recalls and markdowns while upholding brand standards.
