Job summary

SSA Group, LLC. is seeking an Assistant Retail Operations Manager to oversee Gift Shop and Gift Kiosk operations. The role reports to the Retail Operations Manager and focuses on dynamic leadership, staffing, training, and ensuring policy compliance across locations.

Responsibilities include forecasting sales, managing payroll, maintaining merchandising standards, and driving guest satisfaction while upholding company guidelines and sustainability efforts.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to articulate to client, management, buyer and HQ.
• Proven leadership skills with team-building and development experience.
• Excellent problem solving and decision making abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrates financial management, merchandising, analytical and planning skills.
• Able to work varied hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Computer skills for basic office functions.

Responsibilities

• Show dynamic leadership and motivate staff to exceed customer expectations.
• Hire, recruit, supervise personnel and manage performance and documentation.
• Develop training programs to train, motivate and mentor employees.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment and POS functionality.
• Forecast daily/weekly sales and manage payroll and controllable costs.
• Analyze sales and inventory to maximize opportunities and meet budgets.
• Oversee inventory control and merchandise presentation to maximize sales.
• Complete daily reporting of sales and budgeting for department.
