Evansville Goodwill Industries is seeking a Store Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in daily operations, ensuring efficient, cost-conscious performance to maximize revenue for Goodwill’s mission. This role emphasizes leadership, training, donor and customer service, and growth opportunities for staff.

The position is full-time hourly with a starting wage of $17.25 per hour, requiring flexible evenings and weekend availability and a background check.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends.
• Employment offer contingent on successful drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist with scheduling, timecard management, supply ordering and reporting with Store Manager.
• Oversee branding, security, donation processing, product rotation and janitorial upkeep per policy.
• Monitor sales, donor counts, payroll and deposits and report findings.
• Support a positive customer and donor experience and participate in team meetings.
