Job summary

Evansville Goodwill is hiring a Lead Sales Associate to support the Store Manager in daily operations and staff development at our Evansville location. You will help greet customers, answer product inquiries, and ensure a positive shopping and donor experience.

The role includes training team members, processing donations, pricing, stocking merchandise, and tracking inventory to meet production standards. The position is full-time with weekend availability and an 8-hour shift.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Employment offer is contingent upon the successful completion of a drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, assist with store operations and product inquiries.
• Train and supervise team members, and meet production standards for sorting, pricing, and stocking merchandise.
• Properly process donations, sort according to guidelines, rotate products, and track inventory using basic calculations.
• Ensure a positive experience for customers and donors, maintain security, and ensure compliance with Goodwill’s image, safety, and policies.
• Assist with scheduling, day-to-day operations, inventory management, and statistical reporting; ensure timely completion of activity reports and accurate donation counts.
