Columbia Sportswear Company is seeking a Retail Supervisor to join our Store Leadership Team. You will oversee day-to-day operations, guide and coach associate-level staff, and ensure proper store procedures to support a superior in-store customer experience.

Strong communication and experience with POS systems are essential. This role requires flexibility with seasonal schedules and adherence to company policies while driving store profitability.

Qualifications

• No specific education required; HS diploma or GED preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in a retail supervisory role or related position.
• Experience operating POS systems and other in-store computerized systems.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with leadership, staff, and customers.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the day-to-day work of associate level staff.
• Provide direction, training, and coaching to associate-level team members to ensure efficient and effective store operations and proper procedures.
• Supervise assigned department of responsibility, overseeing store profitability through receiving, handling, replenishing, and processing.
• Create and maintain store culture through teamwork and coaching, leading by example.
• Collaborate with the store leadership team on policies, procedures, and standards for assigned areas.
• Maintain company standards and policies and ensure adherence to procedures and quality standards.
