Job summary

PetSmart’s Process Lead role focuses on driving operational excellence in stores, overseeing merchandising, inventory management, and pet care operations. You’ll open/close the store, guide associates, and ensure a safe, organized environment aligned with our values.

We seek candidates with strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, committed to delivering a great in-store experience for pet parents.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail supervisory experience in a customer-focused environment.
• Full-time availability, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to react under pressure and maintain composure.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide sales associates in merchandise handling, training on product knowledge and presentation standards.
• Delegate daily tasks and supervise associates when acting as Leader on Duty.
• Manage merchandise strategies, inventory levels, audits, and stock replenishment.
• Operate POS systems and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Maintain store standards and uphold Policies, Procedures, and Code of Ethics.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and visually appealing store environment.
• Support pet parent and associate experience, including online order pick-up.
• Assist in opening and closing procedures, including live cycle counts.
