Job summary

Trulieve in Tempe, AZ is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in supervising store personnel, inventory and operations. You will help drive service standards, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver an exceptional patient experience.

The role requires 2+ years retail/management, cash handling, training and leading a 40+ person team, and strong communication. Flexible schedule; salary commensurate with experience; health benefits and PTO included.

Qualifications

• Two years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior management experience, preferably in retail and/or customer service area is a plus
• Must have prior cash handling experience
• Must possess the ability to train, develop and evaluate a team of 40+ employees
• Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism to communicate with all levels of management and staff; ability to uphold a strict level of confidentiality and discretion
• Able to communicate in conversational English to work effectively with customers and team members, operate electronic equipment (computer, scanner, printer, etc.), comprehend safety procedures, and utilize telecommunication devices
• Proven ability to analyze data and draw appropriate conclusions to inform policies and procedures
• Ability to interact with customers and team members respectfully and politely

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement strategies to improve service standards and sales.
• Maintain brand standards in visual merchandising
• Ensure consistent regulatory compliance with all state specific regulations
• Review and communicate and ensure compliance with all company SOPs and work with the general manager and other leaders to assure that any changes are communicated to employees
• Coaching, training, and development to the team focused on service standards and accountability
• Monitor and maintain store inventory
• Handle and resolve patient issues and escalations when on duty
• Maintain professional working relationships with business partners
• Assist the General Manager in managing labor budget to meet the needs of the business
• Maintain confidentiality and compliance
• Perform other tasks that have been assigned by management
