Job summary

Trulieve is seeking an Assistant General Manager for our Retail team. This role supports the General Manager in supervising store personnel, inventories, and daily operations while ensuring regulatory compliance and a superior customer experience.

You will help drive service standards, manage the labor budget, and coach a team of 40+ employees. The position requires strong leadership, confidentiality, and effective communication with all levels of staff.

Qualifications

• Two years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior management experience in retail or customer service is a plus.
• Must have prior cash handling experience.
• Must possess the ability to train, develop and evaluate a team of 40+ employees.
• Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism to communicate with all levels of management and staff; uphold confidentiality.
• Able to communicate in conversational English to work effectively with customers and team members, operate electronic equipment, comprehend safety procedures, and use telecommunication devices.
• Proven ability to analyze data and draw appropriate conclusions to inform policies and procedures.
• Ability to interact with customers and team members respectfully and politely.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the General Manager to plan and implement strategies to drive service standards and positive sales results.
• Maintain brand standards in visual merchandising.
• Ensure consistent regulatory compliance with all state specific regulations.
• Review, communicate and ensure compliance with all company SOPs and ensure changes are communicated to employees.
• Provide coaching, training, and development to the team focused on service standards and accountability.
• Monitor and maintain store inventory.
• Resolve patient issues and escalations when on duty.
• Maintain professional relationships with business partners.
• Assist in managing labor budget to meet business needs.
• Maintain confidentiality and compliance.
• Perform other tasks assigned by management.
