Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: 5 years in underwriting FNMA/FHLMC, FHA, USDA and VA loans.
• Additional qualifications: FHA DE certification, VA SAR/cert, and investor loan underwriting experience.
• Knowledge of underwriting guidelines and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to retail and TPO originators with guidelines and income scenarios.
• Maintain a small loan pipeline for final decision under delegated authority.
• Review all appraisal types for final approval and related conditions.
• Stay updated with investor guidelines and participate in refresher trainings.
• Respond to management on QC/QA exceptions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
