Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: 5 years in underwriting FNMA/FHLMC, FHA, USDA and VA loans.
• Certifications: FHA DE certification, VA SAR and certification.
• Experience with mortgage loan underwriting across FNMA/FHLMC/FHA/VA/USDA.
• Knowledge of underwriting guidelines and compliance.
• Proficiency with Desktop Underwriter and PC applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to retail and wholesale platform for loan decisions and underwriting guidance.
• Maintain a small loan pipeline for final approval based on delegations.
• Review all appraisal types for final approval including NOVs and conditional requirements.
• Stay updated with investor guidelines through refresher training.
• Review and respond to QC/QA exceptions and communicate with management.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
