Job summary

Truist is seeking a Mortgage Sales professional to lead marketing efforts for Truist Mortgage Loan products and to refer clients to complementary bank services. You will work within established policies to deliver sound advice and grow mortgage client relationships.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, knowledge of mortgage products, and adherence to regulatory requirements. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of banking or lending experience with basic knowledge of residential property types.
• Good organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Proficient with relevant computer applications.
• Must be SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliant within 30 days, and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Execute effective mortgage marketing and development plans to meet mortgage production goals.
• Maintain knowledge of Mortgage Strategies, Policies and Procedures and investor guidelines.
• Comply with Truist policies and applicable state/federal laws.
• Provide mortgage advice based on client needs and Truist products.
• Refer mortgage clients to other bank solutions to deepen client opportunities.
• Assist Mortgage Loan Fulfillment with document follow-up as needed.
