Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. seeks a Merchandise Manager in Chambersburg, PA to drive merchandising execution, pricing accuracy, and promotional readiness. You will manage truck processing, planograms, and visual standards while planning workloads with store leadership.

Responsibilities include leading SOP adherence, inventory routines, and stock replenishment to ensure a customer-ready store environment, with strong focus on training and asset protection.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance.
• Ensure execution of policies and standards, holding team accountable.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage, maintaining floor leadership and service standards.
• Lead truck execution processes, unloading, sorting and flow of merchandise to sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Execute Store-In-Stock Optimization routines to drive in-stock levels and replenishment accuracy.
• Oversee Planogram execution, ensuring merchandising sets are completed on schedule.
• Establish and maintain visual merchandising standards and initial product placement.
• Support a clean, organized store environment including backroom and sales floor recovery.
• Manage inventory control, ensuring product integrity and stock movement.
• Execute ad sets with compliant and customer-focused signage and placement.
• Complete price changes accurately and on time, maintaining pricing integrity across floors and systems.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment processes including picking, packing and shipping.
• Process RTVs and ASN receiving with compliance and documentation accuracy.
• Manage store damages procedures and shrink reduction initiatives.
• Train, coach, and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
• Partner to maintain Asset Protection practices and reduce shrink.
