Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Merchandise Manager in Bay area stores to drive merchandising and operational execution, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards. You will ensure pricing accuracy, timely promotional execution, and a customer-ready store environment through strong workload planning and inventory management.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Experience executing SOPs and company programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading adherence to SOPs and company programs.
• Ensure execution of company policies and standards for store conditions and results.
• Provide MOD coverage and maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Lead truck execution, unloading, sorting and flow of merchandise to sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Oversee in-stock routines to drive replenishment accuracy and sales readiness.
• Oversee Planogram execution to ensure correct merchandising sets on schedule.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and product presentation per company expectations.
• Support clean, organized store environment including backroom and floor recovery.
• Manage inventory control, product accuracy and stock movements.
• Execute ad sets with compliant promotional signage and product placement.
• Complete price changes accurately and on time across the floor and systems.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment and ASN receiving.
