Sam's Club in Maple Grove, MN is seeking a customer-focused associate to deliver member service, guide self-service technology, assist with purchasing decisions, and maintain the sales floor with strong safety and presentation standards.

The role includes supervising teammates under management guidance, supporting policy compliance, and participating in recruiting, coaching, and development. A minimum of 6 months in retail and customer service is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 6 months retail experience AND 6 months customer service experience.
• Preferred: leading a team, supervising experience to include hiring, evaluating, mentoring, developing, and managing the workload of others

Responsibilities

• Provide member service by acknowledging the member and identifying member needs, guiding self-service technology, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting Walmart/Sam's Club products and services.
• Assist management with supervising associates by assigning duties, communicating goals, training, and providing feedback to ensure service quality and policy compliance.
• Receive and stock supplies and merchandise from distribution centers and vendors, organize the sales floor, and complete required paperwork.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness by conducting safety checks, forklift procedures, and reporting unsafe conditions.
• Ensure merchandise presentation and pricing follow company policies, handle claims/returns, and manage shrink and damaged goods.
• Oversee club pickup orders, ensure correct item selection and staging, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
