Qualifications

• Experience working in a retail environment, preferably footwear and athletic apparel.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience.

• Ability to assist in managing a team and keep up with overall goals and profits.
• Self-starter with initiative to take on tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in controlling the assets of Hibbett I City Gear and establish action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Assume responsibility of the entire store in the Store Manager's absence.
• Provide knowledge and guidance to employees and customers across departments.
• Monitor inventory, sales statistics, and expenses to ensure profitability.
• Direct staff to complete department responsibilities and standards.
• Keep Store Manager informed about inventory movement and customer trends.
• Ensure quality customer service is maintained and promoted.
• Perform general administrative duties and be trained in Store Manager responsibilities.
• Deliver extraordinary customer service and promote services and merchandise.
