Job summary

maurices is seeking a Manager in Training (MIT) at Store 2118-Cottonwood Mall in Albuquerque, NM. This role works with the store manager to drive sales, deliver a customer-focused experience, and lead through hands-on participation while learning the business.

The MIT program trains for a Store Manager role within 3–6 months, with relocation to a new store or group as needed. You will participate in performance coaching, scheduling, and talent development daily.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required as the minimum education.
• Prefer degree in business or retail merchandising for advanced Know-how.
• Experience supervising teams in customer-focused environments.
• Proven track record of achieving and communicating goals.
• Experience hiring, promoting, and coaching staff.
• Demonstrates professionalism and sound decision making.
