Job summary

Maurices in Manhattan, KS is seeking a Manager in Training (MIT) to join our store team. You will work with the store manager and teams to drive sales, deliver exceptional customer service, and build strong talent.

The MIT program prepares you for a Store Manager role within 3–6 months, with relocation flexibility to a group of locations. You will participate in training modules while performing managerial duties.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED required; a business or retail merchandising degree preferred.
• Supervisory experience in a customer focused environment; fashion industry experience a plus.
• Proven track record of achieving goals and aligning with company direction.
• Experience hiring, promoting and motivating talent.
• Ability to lead by example and make sound decisions.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist store manager in achieving sales goals and driving a customer-focused environment.
