Job summary

maurices is seeking a Manager in Training (MIT) to work alongside the store manager, driving sales, delivering exceptional customer service, and leading the team. The program prepares you for a Store Manager position within 3–6 months and requires relocation to a new or group of stores.

You will participate in training modules, assume managerial responsibilities, and contribute to talent development, payroll planning, and visual standards while supporting store performance.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED required; merchandising degree preferred.
• Supervisory experience in a customer-focused environment.
• Proven track record of achieving goals and directing store initiatives.
• Experience in hiring, promoting, and motivating talent.
• Ability to lead by example and make sound decisions.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to relocate to a specific store or group of stores.

Responsibilities
