Job summary

Maurices Incorporated is seeking a Manager in Training (MIT) for our Midland, TX location. The MIT will work with the store team to drive sales, deliver exceptional customer service, and learn to manage store operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; a retail merchandising degree preferred.
• Supervisory experience in a customer-focused environment; fashion industry preferred.
• Proven track record of achieving goals and executing company direction.
• Experience hiring, promoting, and motivating talent.
• Lead by example with sound decisions and professionalism.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Diligent and perseverant; able to commit to a specific store location.

Responsibilities

• Support store manager to achieve sales goals and a customer-focused environment.
• Lead by example and coach associates using training resources.
• Manage payroll hours to support business needs and profitability.
• Prepare schedules based on traffic and store activity.
• Ensure execution of company direction (POS, Visual, HR, Operations).
• Assist with hiring, coaching, and talent development.
