Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is offering a paid Management & Sales Internship a 10-12-week summer program in our retail stores. You will gain hands-on experience in management, sales, and store operations, plus customer interactions across B2B and retail settings.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in college or university at the time of internship
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally
• Able to work evenings and weekends as scheduled

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and professional customer service in-store and over the phone
• Assist customers and contribute to sales goals through product recommendations
• Develop a strong understanding of store merchandise to answer questions and ensure inventory accuracy
• Restock shelves, support inventory management, and contribute to visual merchandising
• Assist with point-of-sale transactions, product preparation, and store upkeep
• Help unload deliveries, organize stockrooms, and ensure efficient inventory flow
• Participate in required training and follow store policies including safety and loss prevention
• Collaborate with interns to complete a team-based project addressing a real business challenge
• Contribute ideas and present outcomes showing teamwork and project management skills
