Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company in Walnut Creek, CA, is offering a paid Management & Sales Internship for a 10-12 week summer period. This hands-on program embeds you in our retail stores, giving exposure to management, sales, merchandising, and customer experience while delivering practical business insights.

Interns will travel with a Sales Representative to learn outside sales, complete a team-based project with leadership support, and gain a pathway to our Management and Sales Training Program

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must be enrolled in a college or university at the time of the internship.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally.
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and professional customer service in-store and over the phone.
• Maintain product displays and assist customers with recommendations.
• Develop product knowledge to answer inquiries and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Restock shelves and support inventory management and merchandising.
• Assist with point-of-sale transactions and store maintenance.
• Help with unloading deliveries and organize stockrooms.
• Participate in required training and follow store policies.
• Support teammates and resolve simple customer concerns.
• Collaborate on a team project addressing a real business challenge.
