Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking a Loss Prevention Specialist to provide a visible security presence at store entrances and on the sales floor, deter theft, and support safety for customers and associates.

You will partner with Store Leadership to enforce Loss Prevention directives, maintain brand standards, and participate in safety initiatives while upholding Ross values and community commitment.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent required, AA degree preferred.
• One year retail supervisor experience or similar training preferred.
• One year loss prevention/security training preferred.
• Active Security Guard License preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with the Store team.
• Excellent Customer service skills.
• Proven ability to effectively resolve conflict.
• Must comply with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations for security positions, including background screening, physical examination, fingerprinting and/or drug and alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible security at store entrances/exits and on sales floor.
• Monitor for potential theft indicators and coordinate with Store Leadership.
• Greet customers warmly and maintain a safe, secure store environment.
• Assist Loss Prevention initiatives and partner with internal/external teams.
• Ensure compliance with company dress code and professional appearance.
