Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking a Loss Prevention Specialist to maintain a safe and secure shopping environment by monitoring entrances and floors and deterring theft.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent required; AA degree preferred.
• One year retail supervisor experience or similar training preferred.
• One year loss prevention/security training preferred.
• Active Security Guard License preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with the Store team.
• Proven ability to resolve conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible command presence and greet customers to deter theft.
• Monitor entrances/exits and sales floor for suspicious behavior.
• Partner with Store Leadership to comply with Loss Prevention directives.
• Train Associates on shortage reduction initiatives.
• Other duties to support Loss Prevention initiatives.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment.
