Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Loss Prevention Specialist to protect customers and associates, deter theft, and uphold store safety at our location. You will engage with shoppers and team members in a courteous, professional manner while enforcing security protocols.

The role requires vigilance, strong communication, and the ability to work a fast-paced shift. You’ll partner with Store Leadership and Loss Prevention to minimize shortages and maintain Ross’s brand standards.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent required; AA degree preferred.
• One year retail supervisor experience or similar training preferred.
• One year loss prevention/security training preferred.
• Active Security Guard License preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with the Store team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible presence at store entrances/exits, deter theft and ensure safety.
• Walk the sales floor to identify theft indicators and address issues.
• Monitor Code 50 package inspections and follow Loss Prevention directives.
• Provide excellent customer service and greet customers.
• Collaborate with Store Leadership and Loss Prevention to minimize shortages.
• Train and educate Associates on shortage reduction initiatives.
• Represent the Ross brand with professional appearance.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
