Job summary

Allied Universal in Burbank, CA is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Lobby Concierge to welcome visitors, manage access, monitor CCTV/alarms, and uphold safety at a busy retail location. You will serve as the welcoming presence for visitors, tenants, and employees, delivering exceptional customer service.

The role requires at least 1 year of security experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid guard card/license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service at the front desk of a retail/mall location by following site procedures and emergency protocols.
• Greet visitors, verify access, maintain logs, and direct individuals to appropriate areas.
• Monitor access points, cameras, alarms and other security systems; report unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents calmly; contact appropriate personnel or emergency services when needed.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation.
